Chairman
Bernhard Rikardsen is chairman of the Mars Institute Norway, drawing on extensive international corporate experience as a senior executive at Scandinavian Airlines. He is the founder and chairman of Sariba, an advisory in human resources strategy, processes and technology with 35 consultants in Oslo and Stavanger in Norway and Madrid in Spain. Bernhard is also executive vice president of Airline People Directors’ Council, an insight, statistics and knowledge provider for the largest airlines world-wide, based in Zurich in Switzerland.
Bernhard firmly believes in mankind constantly challenging the limits of our physical space, our mind and our imagination. He works as a coach and mentor for people he has discovered having a greater potential than they might be aware of.
In between the many client assignments and governance duties, Bernhard finds time for book projects, travel, carpentry and visual arts, and tops it off by commuting weekly between Norway and the Netherlands.
